You awake, discovering that you have lost most information about yourself.
You can remember your name; Aldriy
The room is dark, and the floofy bed you find yourself occuppying is rather comfortable.
A loud crash is heard from outside.
There are three choices:
[[Investigate the crash]]
[[Search your surroundings for personal belongings and info]]
[[Go back to sleep]]
(set: $hasPurple_flower to 0)
(set: $hasHypnosis_for_Dummies to 0)
(set: $hasHay_Residue to 0)
(set: $hasKnowledge to 0)
(set: $hasLeg to true)
(set: $hasGlenn to 0)Upon opening the door, a massive, hulking figure stands in the way of you and the corridor outside.
"Princess!" The gentelman exclaims, "Please, return to your chambers at once. The sound was nothing of your concern.
[[Insist on leaving]]
[[Return to the Bed]]You find a set of armor and clothes; If you do decide to investigate the noise, these would be most helpful.
[[Equip Armor and leave]]
There is also a journal sitting alone, on a small nightstand nearby the floofy bed; It reads 'Clouding the Minds of Your Enemies For Dummies!'
[[Read the Book]]You decide the sound is nothing, and you feel that you could remember personal info if you weren't half-asleep.
The bed is comfy, after all... perhaps one more hour of sleep?
[[Investigate the crash]]
[[Search your surroundings for personal belongings and info]]
[[Return to Sleep]]A loud crash comes from the cieling.
You are asleep, so you can't hear it.
The guards find your body in the morning.
Ending 1: Beauty Sleep
[[Return to Start ->The Story Begins]]
(set: $hasRest to 1)"Could you please get out of your nightgown, Princess Aldriy, if you insist on leaving?"
[[I can do what I want!]]
[[Fine]]You return to your chambers, thoroughly befuddled. You head back to sleep; this whole excursion has been far too confusing.
[[Return to Sleep]] The knight is shocked by your remarks, and pushes you back into bed.
Upset, you run back to the door. It has been blocked off by the hulking guard's weight.
[[Return to Sleep]]
[[Search your surroundings for personal belongings and info]] You re-enter the room, at the soldier's behest.
[[Equip Armor and leave]] You put the armor on - it fits well.
There is a sword sitting with the armor aswell, you take that too.
You head for the door.
[[Into the Hallway]]The book itself holds little of value; it was simply a book on how to place a forgetfulness curse on anyone who does you wrong.
Two things stood out, however;
A Note, which read "Return to the library immediately, the collection is overdue.", and a Library Card, belonging to a "P. Whittleshire"
(set: $hasWhittleshire to 1)
You take the book and move towards the armor.
(set:$hasHypnosis_for_Dummies to 1)
There is little of interest in the rest of the room.
[[Equip Armor and leave]] "Princess!" The guard exclaims, startled to see you in full armor.
"Please, the sound was nothing. I'm sure my words mean nothing, but please, return to your sleep"
"No. I am going to investigate the sound." Your retort seems to have him stunned.
"Then please, allow me to come with you as a personal guard."
[[The knight joins your party]]"If you are following me, at least bother to tell me your name, sir."
The knight appears stunned. "Princess Aldriy, you surely jest- you must know of your personal bodyguard!"
[[No.]]"I remember practically nothing- Please just tell me your name, dude."
The knight still appears stunnded, but possibly finding comfort in this scenario being a 'joke', he decicdes to go along with the 'charade'
"I am Sir Ruldol, personal bodyguard to Aldriy, the Princess of Granburough."
Finally with some information and a few choices, you decide...
[[Go left, towards the noise]]
[[Go right]]The passage left leads toward several sperate rooms. Torches make the signs barely visible.
[[Enter room 1]]
[[Enter Room 2]]
[[Enter Room 3]]
[[Continue Through the Hallway]]The Hallway is dim, however, you can fainly see the outline of a series of pillars.
(either: "The area becomes bright, shone down upon by the moon, glistening through the dense clouds." , "The Clouds fog your view, as the area remains as dimly lit as your bedroom. However, you can still barely make out the shapes in front of you." )
A open courtyard appears, finely decorated with lush plant life and several exoctic species of herb.
One in Particular catches your eyes: A bright purple flower, rose-like in appearance.
[[Investigate the Purple Flower]]
[[Continue Down the Hallway]]A stairwell appears from inside the room.
You climb the stairs, only to find... another hallway!
(either: "At least this hall has windows" , "This hallway is just as dark as the last...")
There are two doors: One directly ahead, and one to your right.
[[Door Ahead]]
[[Right Door]]It's a Library.
(if: $hasGlenn is 1)[(either: "Glenn seems excited. 'Aah, a fancy library.'" , "'Oh my... that woman seems kinda old, but... strangely powerful.' Glenn is intimidated by the old lady.")]
An old woman is sitting at the desk.
"Hello again, Tabitha. My, you are a busy pupper today, aren't you?"
She is spouting only nonsense.
[[Discuss current events]]
(Return to the Hallway [[Go left, towards the noise]])It's a bathroom.
The men's bathroom.
You leave immediately.
You reach a dead-end. Why does the hallway just stop here? You reach your hand out and touch the flower's delicate petals.
It feels heavenly, as though you are touching a cloud, or a very fluffy doggo.
Something about this flower is incredibly... attractive to you...
You instinctively choose to pluck the flower, grabbing its stem and seperating it from its earthly body. You place it in your hair, for some reason.
(set:$hasPurple_flower to 1)
Sir Ruldol seems to constantly stare at the flower.
[[Continue Down the Hallway]]The Hallway opens up to another, more empty courtyard. There is much open space, a Haystack, a cat, and a large Gate.
[[Stare at the Haystack Lustfully]]
[[Approach the Gate]]
[[Pet the Cat]]You stare towards the haystack. (either: "The Haystack returns your advances" ,"The Haystack intentionally ignors your loving gazes" , "It's just a Haystack. It can't see you.")
You cannot see the Haystack respond, so you decide to make the next move.
Sir Ruldol is incredibly, incredibly confused.
You approach the Haystack. You almost have him in your grasp.
[[Kiss the Haystack]]
[[Dive Into the Haystack]]
[[Regain Sanity]]"Halt! Who Goes There?" A shout from atop a watchtower startles you.
"She is Princess Aldiry, you Nimwit! Have some Respect!"
This is the first time in memory that Ruldolf has been even remotely helpful.
"Apologies, madam. If you wish to leave the castle, I am unfortuanetly Unable to allow your exit."
[[Climb the Tower]]
[[Return to the Corridor, defeated.]]You make physical contact with the Haystack.
Your Relationship is final.
He will always remain in your heart.
(set: $hasHay_Residue to 1)
Do you make the next move?
Do you abandon him, forgetting this loving embrace?
[[Regain Sanity]]
[[Dive Into the Haystack]] The Haystack is, in fact, an infinite void of hay.
You descend into its madness, fully enfatuated by its spell.
There is no way to return.
(if:$hasPurple_flower is 1)[You realize your location suddenly. A mysterious force must have saved you. Could it have been the flower? [[Cry Profusely]]]
(if:$hasPurple_flower is 0)[There is no excape from the Hay Void. [[Accept Your Fate]]]You decide to end this horrid, horrid charade. You knew the Haystack wasn't good enough for you.
The Haystack begins to whine like a pig, bawling over you abandoning him.
The relationship was one-sided.
You're beyond him. Simply move on.
[[Approach the Gate]]You are trapped forever, diving infinitely into madness.
You love it.
Ending 3: Dreams of Hay
Restart:
[[The Story Begins]] You cry for your fate. You cry for everything you have solved, everything you have forgotten, and everything still a mystery.
Sir Ruldol cannot save you here. He cannot aid you ever again.
Ending 2: Infinite Sadness, only encapsulated by Infinite Hay.
Restart:
[[The Story Begins]] "Princess..? What Are You Doing?"
(if: $hasHypnosis_for_Dummies is 1)[You chant a spell. The guard falls asleep. You are free to exit the Castle. [[Escape]]]
(if: $hasHypnosis_for_Dummies is 0)[The knight kindly asks you to leave his bedroom. He lives in the tower. You leave, defeated [[Return to the Corridor, defeated.]]]You choose to leave the gate and explore further into the hallway.
There were better mysteries inside the castle walls, anyhow.
You head in the other direction, towards the noise.
However, another sound draws your intrigue as you pass by your room...
It sounds as if the ceiliing collapsed on itself.
There are people talking amongst themselves- you overhear four men discussing your murder...
"Boss, I didn't mean to squash the girl into a pancayke!" The voice is somewhat high-pitched, yet with a strange accent.
"We'll it's proba'lly bett'uh to 'ave her deaad than to 'ave their family curse kill us all, Dirg." The voice that responded sounded far more gruff, with an even stranger accent.
"Boss, what about the pay! We were meant to bring her alive!" This voice sounds... normal, somewhat.
"Yeah, Mick, if we don' bring her back alive then the witch'll-"
The last voice was cut off.
(set: $hasKnowledge to 1)
{(live: 1s)[(either:[[Bust through the Door!]] , [[Go left, towards the noise]])]}You open the Gate. You are free.
What memories you had regained no longer matter; you can begin your true life.
You order Sir Ruldol to remain the castle. You tell him that you are simply going to get some milk, or possibly are going to get a wizard to remove the cursed Haystack.
You Never Return.
Your ways of banditry become known throughout the continent within a fortnight, yet none discover your original identity.
Ending 4: Your True Life
Return to Start
[[The Story Begins]] "Ah, Ruldol. It's a pleasure to see you."
Ruldol seems confused. "ma'am, I've never met you in my life"
The woman is visibly upset.
"Ruldol, how could you forget your dear grandmother mewo-ters?"
She is babbling complete nonsense now.
Ruldol is conflicted...

(if: $hasHypnosis_for_Dummies is 1)[You could also return the book...[[Return the Book]]]"Yes, of Course I know you!"
"Then what is my name?"
Dead silence.
"Get out." she yells.
[[Go left, towards the noise]] The world begins to collapse around you.
Somehow, Ruldol uttering the phrase "I'm Adopted" set off a chain reaction that caused the entire castle to fall into the eternal darkness of 'The Hay Void'
There is no escape.
The entire castle guard, including yourself, were murdered within a fortnight.
Ending 5: Adopted
Return to Start:
[[The Story Begins]]
Go back 1 Choice:
[[Discuss current events]] You try to ram down the door in vain. The entire ceiling of your room must've collapsed, because the door is unable to be opened.
"OY! THE GUARD MUST'VE HEARDS US!" the high-pitched one screams.
"QUICK BOYS, THRU THE WINDER!"
The men try to escape, but Ruldol busts down the door.
There are five men in the room:
One is rather tall and lanky. He has no mouth; his face is simply has a flat plain where it would have been.
The second man, closest to the window, is staring in disbelief; he realized you were alive, and seems rather stunned by you and Ruldol's enterance. He appears to be of an average build; nothing perculiar about him.
The third man is rather buff; he seems to be the muscle of the group. His clothes stretch out over his body like a third, uncomfortable layer of skin. They cover his face.
The fourth is holding a sword, and has unusual accessories strewn about his person. He is wearing a belt like a scarf... and his shirt is made of sewn together scraps and pieces of other articles of clothing.
The fifth, and most unusual, was a floating gun. It had no defining features, just the basic outline of a pistol.
The gun had a face. Just a pair of eyes and a mouth floating around it. Not attatched, just... there.
The man closest to the window approaches. He pulls out a knife.
"Well... this is quite awkward innit?" He was the man with the high-pitched voice. You can infer that his name is Dirg.
Ruldol draws his sword.
You draw yours.
The tall man draws a bow, the one covered in accessories stares on, confused; he readies a tome.
The gun falls back, watching from a distance.
"Gett'um Boys!" The gun shouts; it was the gruff voice from earlier. The gun was the boss.
Why wouldn't he fight if he's just... a floating gun?
[[Duel]]Swords begin to clash everythwere throughout the destroyed room.
You focus in on the average man; he is no slouch in a fight, even as he is only weilding a small knife.
He appears to ready for a significant blow;
[[Guard]]
[[Dodge]]
[[Run over and attack the kid in the corner]]You ready yourself for his blow; it lands on your leg. It bleeds out profusely; he might have cleaved bone.
That was the wrong choice.
You crumple to the ground, wounded. (set: $hasInjury to 1)
He lashes foreward, ready to slice your head.
[[DO A BARREL ROLL]]
[[Grab his neck with your sword]]You roll to the side, and counter his advance
He falls to the floor, and pulls out another knife.
He throws it across the room

You are dead.

Return to Start
[[The Story Begins]] Double-click this passage to edit it.You duck under the knife.
Dirg tries to run up and slash you, but you h ave a mysterious purple flower.
The flower had a strange effect of drawing you towards it, so why wouldn't it work on Dirg?
It worked... too well.
Not only does Dirg try to grab the flower, but... so does everyone else.
Including Sir Ruldol.
The only ones not effected are you, and the boy in patches in the corner.
"Y.. You used a Pospis Rose... those have a strange alluring magical effect on any who encounter..."
The boy has a intense knowledge of plants and magic.
You ignore the other men's squabbles and walk towards the boy to investigate.
He seems... somewhat frightened.
"St-Stay back, or I'll undo the protection spell!"
[[What's Your Name?]]You ask him for his name.
He seems somewhat startled by the request.
"It's Glenn. Glenn Shmirtz."
"Now Glenn, why is such a young lad so proficient in magic stuck with these rouges?" Your response doesn't catch him off guard.
"Well... they needed a mage for a break-in attempt, and I'm well-known in the next town over. They kidnapped me, and made me use magic to get them inside the castle."
Glenn pauses, then continues. "I've been trying to stop their plans, but it's not working to well. We almost thought I squished you with some earth spell..."
He has good intentions. He didn't want to be here at all... You ask him one more question.
"If I were to use this, -I belive you called it a 'Pospis Rose'- in an area with an already existing alluring effect, what would happen?"
"Well, it would simply nullify both effects, as all magical charms work. You can't have two at once, ya know." Glenn is very knowledgable in the field of magic it seems. Why don't you let him come along?
[[Let him join your party]]{(if: $hasLetter is 0)[ You walk towards the door ahead. Sir Ruldol stops you.

[[Enter Door B]]Glenn seems happy.
"Oh, Really? You won't kill me?"
"Of course not," you Reply, "It wasn't your choice to attempt to kidnap and/or murder me"

Within moments, her gaping maw spreads to reveal rows of teeth, spinning like sawbades.
You stand in shock. Ruldol draws his sword.
The fight is pointless.
Within moments, both of you are devoured, and digested.
Ending 7: Eww... Vore
Return to Start
[[The Story Begins]] The woman's gaping maw grows to reveal rows of hideous teeth, spinning like sawblades.
She grows in size, her lower half becoming a massive cocoon, similar to a spider's abdomen.
Large, hulking legs burst from the creature's lower half; spiderlike in nature, yet veiny and pulsating like a humans.
You draw your sword, Glenn readies his tome, and Ruldol draws his blade.
Ruldol shouts, "Begone, Monster! You don't belong in this world!"
Castle guards rush into the room after hearing Ruldol's battle cry.
You hear its screech - this was the beast that had awoken you earlier, and what caused you to go on this minor quest.
[[Battle the Beast]]
[[Escape to the Hallway like a Coward]]You choose to stand your ground.
(either: "Ruldol swings his blade, and it slashes across one of it's legs." , "Glenn summons a mighty ball of frost and hurls it at the beast, damaging it's abdomin")
The guard hurl themselves at the massive foe, yet it hurls them back like toy soldiers attacking a dog.
[[Slash it ferociously]]
[[Use Glenn]]You dart out into the hallway like a sissy.
There are more knights coming to battle the beast.
Without Sir Ruldol, they'll be massacred.
He has to protect you and your self-righteous sense of self, however, and follows you to the only path still available; Room 1.
[[Enter the First Room]]
[[Indescisively return to the Library]]You dart into the first room as quickly as possible - it's a staircase.
Glenn casts a speed-enhancing spell on the three of you, as you all rush up to the next floor.
You return to the library, unable to make a proper choice.
You are slammed by bookshelves and eventually bodies of soldiers.
The entire kingdom fell due to your mishandling of the situation.
You,and everyone you know, are dead.
Ending 11: Inside Out 2: Medieval Boogaloo
Return to Start:
[[The Story Begins]] You swing your blade gracefully at the enemy.
While your swings are graceful, they are not dainty. The beast is incredibly wounded.
It begins to feast on soldiers.
Ruldol attempts to save the men it grabs in it's maw. Then, you get an idea. You've seen this trope before.
You ask Glenn if he could enchant your sword, as well as Ruldols.
He agrees, yet it's very temporary.
You and Ruldol prepare for the attack.
[[Jump]]You tell Glenn to continue to use his magic.
He launces a massive thunderbolt at the monster's eyes.
The visage of the grannie cracks to reveal a bird beak.
It caws, summoning a horde of bird heads from its abdomin
Their cawing causes your ears to bleed.
The birds begin to malt out of the librarian bird, and fly across the library.
They dive-bomb you.
[[Birdemic]]You climb atop rubble and launch yourself at the beast.
Ruldol's sword is enchanted using heavenly thunder; yours is armored with a blazing flame.
The beast opens its gaw to swallow you whole,
You and Ruldol fling yourselves into its stomach
(either: "Its teeth barely graze you as you slash wildly into its throat" , "Ruldol nimbly weaves through its barrage of teeth; you aren't as lucky.")
Your magically enchanted swords pierce it's gullet, and drag the wound along with you as you fall.
You climb out before you take a deadly trip to it's stomach.
The beast is dead.
Many guards are wounded; a castle healer is dealing with the survivors.
None have the mythical 'Revive' spell.
Glenn anxiously awaits your return.
[[Re-unite with Glenn]]Glenn is suprised that actually worked.
"WOAH, you... you guys actually did it! You two are Amazing!"
You, however, have no time to wallow in triumph.
You approach a soldier on the ground. He is lifeless.
"Aldiry, what are you...?"
You yourself don't understand. Your body simply compells itself towards the man. A power that was lost begins to awaken within you.
You cast Revive.
The soldier awakens.
[[Heal the men]]This is the worst possible ending.
Hordes of birds dive straight through your armor, cutting through bone.
You collapse to your knees. A power seems to almost... cry for help. You have the ability to heal this wound. How?
More birds dive directly into your skull.
Nothing can revive you now.
Ending 8: Shock, Terror, Resurrection.
Return to Start
[[The Story Begins]] You work with the castle healers to revive and aid the soldiers.
As you do this, two things occur:
One, a horde of birds begin to... drip out of the beast's corpse, similar to water pouring from a broken Glass. The monster's face dissipates, also revealing a bird's head.
The second event, is you remember the history of the "Revive" spell. You remember the wars wages for its power; only remaining as memories in this modern era.
You remember your lineage, the sacred line that rose to powerthanks to it's skill with Revive.
The Royal Family, your family, is the only one with this ability.
It rose to power, reviving the dead, healing the sick.
Eventually, a entire nation grew around these revivers, and they became its rulers.
Thus, the Éveille dynasty was born.
It has remained in power for over 10,000 Years.
Finally, you remember your family's history.

However, in the hallway, there is a man. He is injured, but not mortally.

You do a barrel roll and find yourself by the window.
Everyone in the room looks at youin shock; you retrun their gazes with a smirk.
"Can't let you do that-" The gun began to speak, but he was cut off.
You Barrel Roll again, out the window.
Your body was never found, yet it was believed that from the description of your injuries and the distance fromyour room to the ground level, as your room overlooks a massive hill, you would have likely died.

You look up to him, incredibly aggrivated.
He looks back, scared.
[[Attack again]]
[[Put the weapon down]]You approach the floating gun.
He begins to fire at you, missing every shot.
No wonder he didn't fight head-on; he's a terrible aim.
You grab him by the handle and begin to fire out into the battle.
You shoot everyone.
The gun then, when you weren't looking, fires at Ruldol, mortally wounding him.
You run to his side, in an attempt to help. Somehow, you know you can save him.
You dropped the gun on the way over.
He shoots you through the chest, then the head.
You are dead.

The average man is right behind you.
However, the mage uses a powerful gust and knocks both of you back.
[[Attack again]] You walk into Father's Room.
All of his servants,no matter what position, are not allowed to disturb his slumber unless absolutely necessary.
You hear grumbling by your father. You light a candle, and call out his name.
He is... different. His bedsheets rise alongside his body.
It's difficult to see him, yet you know something unfortunate has happened.
[[Call Ruldol & Glenn]]You request foryour allies to enter the room.
They burst through the door, with Glenn's fire magic blazing, and Ruldol's sword shining elegantly.
You point them toward the mass, which recoils in terror, noticing you. It... it begins to speak.
"Please- who- What are you- Someone, Anyone!"
Ruldol sheaths his sword in disbleief. He motions for you and Glenn to stand down.
"Y-Your Majesty? What happened to you?"
[[Talk with the King]]You begin walking towards the Tower. After hours of walking, and getting incredibly tired, you question how this is possible.
You look behind you; The door back is the same distance away as it was when you started.
You have made absolutely zero progress.
[[Enter Door A]]
(if: $hasKnowledge is >1)[You realize that the barrier is composed of holy magic. After making sevral dedictions, using knowledge gained previously, you discover that the barrier only effects that one passageway. So, you climb the wall you're standing on, and then go around the barrier, and reach the front door. [[Enter the Tower]]]You enter the tower to find arcane messages displayed throughout the floor, walls, desks, etc..
There is a shrewd young man observing some books, looking rather distressed.
You approach him, but not before he draws a tome to his use.
[[Duel, I Suppose?]]The strange, spine-adorned creature reveals itself from much of the sheets.
Glenn uses fire magic to create a central light in the room.
Ruldol is astonished by it's front-facing form. It issimilar to what vauge memories you have of your father, yet he hasbeen... transformed into a monster.
You catch him up to speed on the night's events; he has no reccollection of what unfortunate fate he met, as he was asleep the whole time.
Your mother is nowhere to be found.
Glenn directs you all towards a tower on the outside ramparts; a deep, black magic has been unleashed there.
You begin to leave, not before the king gives you a hearty 'Stay Safe.'
[[The Path to the Tower]]The path to the tower was guarded by an intense magical barrier. Glenn disposes of it, and the three of you continue onward. However...
[[Random Encounter!!!]]"Stay back, you filth! I stole your memories once, and I can do it again in twice the time!"
(if: $hasWhittleshire is 1)[You can deduce that this man is P. Whittleshire, the man who stole your memories.]
You swing your sword once, and it never connects.
He reels back in terror.
The man is stunned, grasping at his chest, before falling over and pretending to die.
You walk over to him and put your sword through his chest.
Thus, you continue to climb upward.
[[Tower's Tip]]A hulking monstrosity bursts from the tower, with a shrewd man clinging to its forearm. He leaps down, and exclaims a command of vengance.
The beast is roughly the size of the castle; it could destroy homes with a single breath. Its tendrils undulate ferociously, like a feral animal's tounge at an awaiting meal.
The large beast begins to charge towards you, but looks at you diretly.
It grows hesitant, and stops moving all together.
[[Draw your sword]]
[[Hold out your hand]]You draw your sword; the monster reels back in horror.
In an apparent attempt to speak, or shriek, or something of the sort, it blows away the entire castle with a yell.
Your body was found in the rubble the next morn.
The kingdom was lost forever, having no ruler.

Instead of raising it's hand, it simply nods it's head in your direction.
It looks towards the tiny man, and with one breath, he is blasted away.
Ruldol stays behind to guard the beast as you and Glenn enter the tower to see if your suspicions were correct about it's identity.
[[Walk into the Tower]]You enter the tower, and see arcane pages strewn about the room.
"ugh, this man must have been so messy..." you mutter under your breath.
"Aldiry, I found something!" Glenn was searching through a desk when he found a library card, beonging to one P. Whittleshire.
His full name was Prudence Whittleshire. Inside, you see several letters adressed tohim. They talk about letting him out of prison.
Ruldol would know more about this topic....
Glenn motions you toward stairs. There is another foe to face, the strongest yet.
[[The Top of the Tower]]You climb to the top of the tower, only to find a much larger expanse than would likely be there.
There are two women; one standing outside, chanting something, while the other is floating in a summoning circle.
The one in the circle's skin is pulsating, as if large amounts of liquid was running underneath.
"T-THE QUEEN!" Ruldol shouts. You realize the woman in the circle is your mother; you must rescue her.
(if: $hasGlenn is 0)[You rush head-first into danger![[Charge]]]
(if: $hasGlenn is 1)[You are about to rush head-first into danger, but Glenn has an idea... [[Strategize for an attack]]]On your upward climb, you notice several hay bales.
You begin to be drawn into their alluring charms and luxurious charisma, yet not before Glenn casts a protection spell over the both of you.
You continue your climb until you find a woman, standing alone by a divine relic.
She mutters incoheriently, as Glenn looks on in horror.
"T-That magic is forbidden! It's to powerful for any mortal to handle!"
She turns around, staring at the two of you.
"Oh? What would a lost girl and a little pup do to stop me?"
She opens a portal from the floor, and weilds a magic staff.
"I have created a barrier of hay around this castle. Anything you say could potentially trigger a collapsing event that causes the end of this kingdom. Choose your words wisely, princess..."
[[The Final Battle]]You draw your sword, Glenn enchants it with a thunder spell.
You approach the witch, pointing yoursword at her neck.
"What did you do to my mother to transform her into such a beast?"
Fire flashes in your eyes as she turns around to you with a grin.
"Oh, I've simply... upgraded your family line.Oh Adliry, I was thinking of helping you next, but you proved to be far too much... perhaps we need to cut off your power?"
You are confused, angry, and out for blood.
Glenn is losing his temper, muttering curses under his breath.
{(if: $hasKnowledge is >101 , $hasCompassion is 1)[(live: 1s)[You rush at her, sword swinging. [[Attack!]]]]}
{(if: $hasKnowledge is <101)[The witch begins to chant, you charge-
"OH MIGHTY ROOM OF FOUR, I COMMAND THEE TO BEND TOWARDS MY WILL! DISPEL THIS WRETCHES' CONNECTION TO YOUR MIGHTY FORCE OF REALITY!"
[[You cannot effect this timeline any more.]]]}You rush at the woman head first, sword ready to stab her in the back.
You unleash a ferocious battle cry as you lauch yourself towards the witch who is experimenting on your mother.
The witch raises her hand; with one wave, you are knocked back to the ground. Not hurt, just pushed back.
"I need to concentrate. Go play with that *monsterous* father of yours."
"What are you doing to my mother? What have you done to the King!?!?"
Your head is spinning with all sorts of questions, when you notice Ruldol sneak an attack in from behind!
The witch doesn't notice...!
{(live: 2s)[(either: [[Rush the Witch]] , [[Continue Talking]] )]}
"Maybe... if we rush at the woman instead, she'll be taken aback, leaving us an opening to attack!"
"Or," Ruldol retorts, "If we charge at the witch, we may be able to defeat her before she gets the chance to counter..."
"If we do decide on that, I'll be able to remove her shield." Glenn is confident in his shield-disposal ability.
"Where shall you guide us, Aldiry?" Ruldolis leaving the choice to you.
[[Mother]]
[[The Witch]]You get up again, preparing to charge at the witch again.
She raises a hand, and delfects Ruldol's blows with a powerful magical barrier.
You realize charging at her might not be the best idea, if even Ruldol is having trouble holding her off.
As she holds him off, you charge at...
{(live: 1s)[(either: [[Mother]] , [[The Witch]] )]}You are about to say something as The witch deflects Ruldol's attack with a powerful magic barrier.
Ruldol is pushed back, deflected by her magical prowess.
"You should have gone for my head..." The witch mutters her incantation, as you watch in horror.
The entire space is transformed into a field of purple haze and hay... This is the Hay Void.
The witch approaches Ruldol, and picks up his sword.
With one mighty swing, she cleaves his neck in two.
He is dead.
(if: $hasPurple_flower is 1)[You still retain your senses... is it because of the flower? [[Revenge for Ruldol]]]
(if: $hasPurple_flower is 0)[You are lost as well. [[Accept Your Fate]]]{(if: $hasGlenn is 0)[You rush off to your mother's side. The witch uses a magical barrier, and it deflects you immediately. You wonder... if she is this powerful, what even is her power level?
She shoves Ruldolaway quickly and readies an attack.
[[Cower]]]}
{(if: $hasGlenn is 1)[{(if: $hasGlenn is 0)[You charge at the witch, sword swinging. She effortlessly deflects both you and Ruldol at the same time.
"Do you really think you can beat me as I am now? I'm only even using 10% of my power!!!" she exclaims.
You stare in awe. How could someone *this powerful* be using so little?
[[Cower]]]}
{(if: $hasGlenn is 1)[You charge at the witch, Glenn right behind you. While you slash at her, Glenn readies a powerful spell. She can't protect herself from all three of you, right? [[Continue Attacking]]]}You rush toward the Witch- that you now deem a 'wench' -with an invigorated passion to slay her.
She unleashes a magical barrier around herself. You don't let up with your sword swings.
Eventually, she is pushed into the summoning circle through sheer might of your blows.
Your mother is pushed out of the way as the witch-wench begins to float in the air.
Your mother begins to awake slowly, as the witch's ritual was completed at the wrong time.
[[The Monster]]You are tattered and worn; Your mother is barely awake.
The witch begins to grow and shake, as if becoming another creature entierly.
Her arms begin to throb rapidly, as her face is contorted into a tentacle-covered mess.
It is roughly the size of the castle; one breath could topple entire buildings.
The beast walks towards Ruldol's corpse. It eats Ruldol's lifeless body whole.
Your mother is now completely awake; she is calm, and seems incredibly angry.
[[What Now?]]Mom stands up, looking determinately at the beast.
It looks back to her, fire consuming its eyes.
Literally, the thing's eyes suddenly are on fire.
Your mother raises a hand, and screams,
"LUMINA!"
The beast collapses in sheer horror of the divine magic.
It begins to turn to stone, and it crumbles before your eyes.
The surrounding energy in this realm begins to dissipate.
Ruldol is dead, yet Mother is safe.
[[Happy Ending?]]Double-click this passage to edit it.As the mysterious hay void fades away, you begin to see the morning sun shine through the dark night sky.
You are home. You saved your mother.
Your father and his royal guard suddenly appear from the tower-they seem confused looking at the king.
Ruldol is dead.
The kingdom is saved, your family is happy - but at what cost?
Ending 13: The good-bad-halfway-in between- ending that leaves you unsatisfied, yet satisfied at the same time.
Return to Start:
[[The Story Begins]] You loose control.
Aldiry continues fighting, Glenn by her side.
Ruldol has no idea what's happening.
Since the witch has taken away your power over Aldiry's choices by breaking the fourth wall, maybe...
[[Control Ruldol]]You blink for a moment. You were dozing off, looking after whatever monster your dear queen has become.
The guards probably already know the situation, maybe you could leave to give Aldiry a hand in her battle?
It seems to not be going well, from what you can hear.
[[Go back to dozing]]
[[Rejoin Aldiry]]{(if: $hasRest is 1)[Really now?
We're doing this bit again?
You go back to sleep like a madman, resulting in a terrible ending where you somehow end up crushed to death? Ohhh no, I don't like whatever you're thinking.
[[I'm far too tired for that]]]}
{(if: $hasRest is 0)[What?
Where's the purpose in going back to sleep now?
You need to rescue Aldir- err, check up on her in her fight! C'mon, she's probably ok, just peek in and aid where you can.
[[Rejoin Aldiry]]
[[Five more minutes...?]]]}You hear some loud clashing coming from the roof of the tower.
You request the queen, turned into a monster, to awake.
You will need her strength to aid Aldiry.
In fact, why hadn't you all just used the queen's power to defeat whatever fiend did this in the first place?
You run up the tower, finding Aldiry and Glenn wounded on the floor.
A witch is staring up at you, about to shoot enough fire at all of you to burn down the entire kingdom.
[[NOW!]]Ok wise guy, I'm tired of this charade. I've had way too many players just sleep through the entire adventure like it's the real way to play. Please, go save Aldiry.
[[I do what I want]]
[[Rejoin Aldiry]] Fine. Fine. You want to sleep? Huh?
Is my game too boring for your 'subtle tastes'?
You just wanna doze off, with no purpose, huh?
You just wanna pet a cat until it disinigrates, huh?
You just wanna be trapped in a hay void, huh?
Well I'll give you the perfect ending, exactly to your liking.
[[Get some more Sleep]]
*OR*, if you were just kidding the whole time, here it is. Your *last chance.*
[[Rejoin Aldiry]] Ok, Player, listen.
As I'm sure you can tell, this whole experience has gone out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Fourth wall breaks, controlling other characters via possession, etc, etc.
I've had too many people just fall asleep in the beginning soley because it was a funny option. Please, just continue the game, and don't try to be a comedian.
[[Rejoin Aldiry]]
[[I'm far too tired for that]]This is your ending.
Exactly what you wanted, exactly how you like it.
Empty. Nothingness.
Sleep as much as you like here. I'm not gonna complain.
I'll just remind you of your choice each and every time you click that button.
(set: $Sleep +=1)
(If: $Sleep is >4)[Resting up for another adventure, huh?]
(if: $Sleep is >14)[The option to leave and play an actual game is always available, if you realize the error of your ways.]
(if: $Sleep is >19)[Man, sure is boring for you around here.]
(if: $Sleep is >29)[Oh, my, if only an adventure was out there to save you from this boredom.]
(if: $Sleep is >30)[This has to end eventually. You know that, right?]
(if: $Sleep is >40)[Man, sure is quiet around here with you doing absolutely nothing.]
(if: $Sleep is >50)[How long do you think it's been in in-game time?]
(if: $Sleep is >60)[Here's the secret: as long as whoever is playing is stuck here, absolutely nothing happens to the in-game story. It's your fault for not finishing what you started.]
(if: $Sleep is 69)[nice joke, huh? 69 clicks to that useless button? really?]
(if: $Sleep is >80)[Huh... how long am I willing to cater to a useless player? I know *somebody* out there will stick their neck through this endless void, but I don't actually know if anybody did or not... weird.]
(if: $Sleep is >90)[How far are you willing to go for useless content?]
(if: $Sleep is >100)[Well, you made it. 100+ clicks to that useless button. In real world time, this must've taken you maybe 5 minutes. At least, I'd estimate it'd take that long. Do you have a life, or...?]
(if: $Sleep is >110)[Yeah, most people left by now. But you, you are persistent. I might not like how you did it, but you've won some form of respect, at least. Here. You earned having the ability to play the game back.[[Rejoin Aldiry]]]
(if: $Sleep is >111)[Or, if you want an even stupider ending, have this. I suppose it won't hurt anybody. [[Win]]]
(if: $Sleep is >120)[I'm done with this pathline. It's boring, and I have to work on the *actual* game. So, if you want to leave, feel free. Or, if you're deadset on sleeping for eternity, just keep pressing the button. I won't judge anymore.]
[[Get some more Sleep]]So, I suppose this counts as 'Rewarding the biggest loser'.
You did nothing but sleep, and I give you some credits.
That totally counts as beating the game, right?
100% Completion rate?
Ehh, the fourth wall is completely destroyed at this point.
Sure. You got 100%. Conglaturations!
Now get out of this ending and play the game for real.
Ending 14: Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing
Restart:
[[The Story Begins]] You shout at the top of your lungs, "NOW!"
The queen shoots a massive beam of light from out of its hand.
The force is enough to send Glenn and Aldiry back towards you.
You can only reach one in time.
(live: 1s)[(either: [[Save Glenn]] , [[Save Aldiry]])]You hold your arm out to catch Glenn - his body slumps into your arms.
You attempt to go over, to catch Aldiry - She has fallen off the tower.
You don't want to look down.
[[Look Down]]You save Aldiry.
As you reach out to find Glenn, you realize you can't see him.
You hear a splatter noise from the ground.
"There is nothing you could've done.
It's not your fault"
Your thoughts hold little impact on how you ultimately feel.
Crying, you approach the queen.
[[See the Queen]]
(set: $hasGlenn to 0)You hear a faint sound - It almost sounds like someone falling on a massive stack of feathers.
You see that Aldiry fell... into a stack of hay.
The Hay Void.
You can no longer save her unless someone dispels that accursed dimensional portal.
Thus, you wait for Glenn to wake up.
In the meantime, you go to see the queen.
She hasn't changed back... Maybe where that foul witch was standing could hold some clue?
[[Approach]]
[[Investigate where the Witch was]]You go to visit the queen.
However, before you do, you hear laughing.
You set Glenn down by the queen, who is staring determined behind you.
[[Turn Around]]You stare down, looking at what appears to be a transmogrification circle.
This must be how the King and Queen were changed into beasts!
You look in awe, before hearing strange laughter.
You set Glenn down by the circle, but not inside of it.
[[Turn Around]]Double-click this passage to edit it.You see the witch, still alive. However...
She is holding something, and is surrounded by goons.
Wait... what she's holding. It's not something... It's someone.
It's a floating, talking gun.
And the gun's theives are all surrounding the witch.
One begins to approach - He has no mouth.
He takes out a bow, preparing for a duel.
[[Fight Him]]He unleashes a barrage of arrows.
You continue to dodge, getting ever closer to him.
However, he keeps moving away.
The witch keeps firing at you using the gun man.
She misses, as she is too far to the right.
You get an idea....
(live: 2s)[(either: [[Corral him to the left]] , [[Corral him to the right]] )]Double-click this passage to edit it.You get the man to advance farther to the right.
From behind, it seems someone had already discovered your plan.
The Queen unleashes anothe rholy blast upon the group.
They are utterly annihilated.
[[Look towards the Queen]]Glenn begins to wake up, and the queen begins to transform bak to her normal self.
You hear a incredibly loud sound, almost sounding like burning.
Then, you hear some shouts, "Aldiry!"
She is safe.
You look on towards the sun, proud.
You saved the kingdom.
[[An Ending]]Double-click this passage to edit it.The witch can't hold out any longer. She takes down her protection barriers in order to block Glenn's attack.
You and Ruldol rush in, slicing her arms.
She falls, incredibly wounded.
Glenn finishes his spell. It blocks her ability to use magic.
She is totally unarmed.
You rush into the witch, completely suprised by your sudden attack.
You slice her throat.
She can't make incantations if she can't speak, right?
Besides, you have revive. If you wanna question her, you always can.
So... You stab her again.
She's dead.
The queen begisn to return to normal.
The sun begins to rise as you visit your Father.
He is also back to nromal.
[[Happy Ending]]The sun begins to rise on a new day.
You've revived the witch, and had her imprisoned for her crimes.
You've captured her goonies, those random theives who kidnapped Glenn.
Turns out the Gun person was also her victim... weird.
You wave goodbye to Glenn as he heads home.
You sit in bed, ready to take a rest after such a long night.
Ending 15: The best ending.
Replay?
[[The Story Begins]] You get the man to the infirmary.
The medics say that if you had not helped him, he might have died.
I suppose you aren't good at analyzing injuries. You need to work on that.
